Established in 2013. Brewer – Apiwe Nxusani from the Eastern Cape. Owners – Mike Martin, Paddy Illidge, Apiwe Nxusani, Doug Phillips, Brett Cooper.
Brewmaster is Apiwe Nxusani from Butterworth in the Eastern Cape. She holds a BSc in Microbiology and a Diploma in Brewing. She worked for SABMiller for over six years, including as Craft Brewer.
“Brewing is not only my career, but also my passion, my hobby.”
The 4,000 litre brewery can produce 32,000 litres of beer per month and capacity can be increased by the addition of a few fermentation tanks.
