"Now wash your hands"
Is a photographic exploration of what goes on behind closed doors. The work is exhibited in the very place it was created : in the male and female toilets of the Castle of Good Hope. Viewers are afforded a glimpse into a private world that they normally wouldn’t have access to. Catching people in erotic and/or compromising situations, satisfying the voyeur that exists within all of us.
The work also explores the differing social and cultural expectations of desire for men and women. spo0ky’s artwork will be exhibited in the male and female toilets of the Castle of Good Hope – Cape Town.
