Dominee charged over ruined house – (curated as of interest to Mamre Moravian Mission Station and Cape Town).
THE Akker Huis, a little barn of thatch and sun-dried bricks, was built around 1850 to store acorns for winter feed at the Moravian Church mission in Mamre on the West Coast. It survived as part of the historic Moravian church complex for around 160 years.
