"Thousands have lived without money, but not one without water" is the
message inscribed on circular discs that dot 60 columns of ice. The ice,
which was suspended from a height of five meters, barricades a twelve meter
long archway. The installation seeks to engage the public around global
water issues.

Climbers spent a misty morning connecting the dots at Table Mountain in Cape Town, South Africa. Lion’s Head, as part of the Table Mountain National Park, has special significance, as its slopes are covered by beautiful, fragile fynbos, which is threatened by rising temperatures and future rainfall uncertainty.
