Final FIFA Draw week heralds start of festive season

The City of Cape Town is hard at work preparing for the eagerly-anticipated Final Draw next Friday 4 December. Roads are being cordoned off, stages are under construction, and banners are being hung to welcome the thousands of people expected to throng into the city centre. Revamped Green Point Common to Benefit Cape Town citizens

Work on the upgrading and reconfiguration of the Green Point Common into the Green Point Urban Park (sports precinct and public park) that will surround the 2010 FIFA World Cup stadium is well underway.
