City’s Draft Problem Building By-law Endorsed by PEPCO

Following a successful public participation process, the City of Cape Town's Planning and Environment Portfolio Committee (PEPCO) has endorsed the draft Problem Building By-law which will aim to address the health and safety risk posed by dilapidated buildings in the city. Problem Building By-Law – last week for comment

The City of Cape Town has formulated a new strategy and by-law to deal with 'problem properties' – and there's just under a few days left for residents to offer comment.
