South Africa is at an advanced stage with formulating its national policy on mitigating the effects of climate change.
President Cyril Ramaphosa and Commander-in-Chief of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) has extended his condolences to the family and friends of the late Lieutenant General Thabiso Mokhosi, Chief of the South African Army.
While several units have returned to service, Eskom is today implementing Stage 2 load shedding.
President Cyril Ramaphosa has cut short his Egyptian working visit to meet with the board and management of Eskom where he will be briefed on plans to mitigate and resolve the current electricity crisis.
