Beer to your seat at DHL Stadium

19 December 2025 by CapeTownNewsReader
You can get beer delivered directly to your seat while you watch the DHL Stormers take on the Lions at DHL Stadium on December 20.

The Vodacom United Rugby Championship derby will see a trial run, with four rows of seats in the Party Stand at DHL Stadium open for this new innovation, with the first beer on us!

There have been 73 seats in the first four rows across blocks 126 and 127 earmarked for this groundbreaking promotion. You will be able to select the ‘Beer to seat delivery’ option when you purchase your tickets at stormers.co.za and enjoy drinks delivered directly to your seat during the match.

No queues, no cash, no card machine required. Instead, pre-order your drinks, pay with the Zapper app, and they will be brought right to your seat row or ready for pickup.

Download the free Zapper app, link a payment method, and get a R50 voucher automatically applied when you pay with Zapper for the first time.

Here’s how to add a secure payment method.

1. Open the Zapper app and tap the menu icon (☰)

2. Go to “Payment methods” and choose one of the following:
• Debit or credit card: Enter your details, tap “Next,” and approve the R2 verification (refunded immediately)
• Bank account: Select your bank and log in with your online banking details

Once you’re set up, you’re ready to order and pay straight from your seat on game day.

In addition to this, every time you pay with Zapper, you will be automatically entered into a competition to win a DHL Stormers replica jersey.
