Orion, Taurus, Pleiades

It’s the annual Geminids meteor shower this weekend – the most spectacular shower of the year – peaking on Friday and Saturday evening. I’m heading off to the dark skies of the Cederberg to observe the event all weekend, last night I practised my astrophotography skills in preparation.
Here’s Orion on the right (with his easily-recognized belt, "The Three Sisters"), the triangle shape to the left of Orion is the head of Taurus (The Bull), and the little cluster to the left of that is the Pleiades.
