Barely a kilometer or two just west of Cape Agulhas lighthouse and the southern tip of Africa is the shipwreck of the Japanese fishing trawler Meisho Maru No. 38. From what I have found, she was loaded with 240 tons of tuna.She grounded around 0300 hours on 16 November 1982. All hands (crew) were able to make it to shore safely. The ship suffered a different fate ….
