Church of the Immaculate Conception, Chelmsford Gravestone of Rt Reg Monsignor Canon Michael Joseph Wilson born Islington 10 Feb 1897 died 8 September 1970.
In the 1901 census, he is living at 8 Isledon Road, Holloway, N, with two younger siblings. Father Michael, 25, mother Clara , b. Freeman in Bethnal Green, 24. (but born 1873 or 1878). By 1911 he is at St Edmunds College seminary in Ware, aged 14. his father was the son of a builder’s labourer, at 9 Old Wellington Street,(now Rhodes Street) Islington in 1881.
