Winslow Brothers,of this city, has recently been placed upon the walls of the college amphitheatre byMrs. Elizabeth H. Ross, wife of the late Prof. Joseph B. Ross. The inscription not only perpetuates the memory of a faithful and honoredteacher, but also records three important events in the history of the college. The terse phrases upon the tablet will be read not without emotion by the num-erous alumni of our Alma Mater who remember the earnestness and worth ofProf fcoss as a man and a teacher.
