LoR – Brawl – The West Tower

Built for my brawl against Yorick .
The trip to Burgdebosen elapsed tranquilly, and the group arrived at the castle before midday. The city had finally been conquered by Lord Jerriston, who had been laying siege on it since he had left Oakenfort.
Jerriston’s strong will and respectfulness were the only think that kept the soldiers fro pillaging and rampaging Burgdebosen. The Queen’s soldiers, after almost starving, decided to kill off their officers and surrender the town.
The old square castle, built in rough stone generations ago stood proud in the centre the city. Its dark walls seemed to swallow Gurmand as he entered the fortress. Lord Jerriston was waiting in the main chamber. He was direct and short to Gurmand:
‘I handle the castle to you, Sir Gurmand Oaken. May you do a good job, both in repairing it and in training the yet-to-arrive Loressi boy ’
‘I’ll do, Lord Jerriston, you may have my word’
‘Good’ he bowed to Gurmand ‘I hope to meet you again, Sir Gurmand’ He almost didn’t looked at Elyssa. He only greeted her when he was about to leave, and did it in a polite, but rude way.
When Jerriston left, Elyssa led Gurmand to his room. All the other members of their convoy were already fulfilling their duties, and Gurmand and Elyssa would finally have time to be alone.
The first thing they did when the door was closed was to kiss. And the kissed for many minutes, each one seeming a eternity to the young lovers. Their arms curled around, while they kept kissing and hugging.
But their bliss was soon interrupted when a soldier erupted through the door.
‘Milord! Lord Cerius is here, accompanied by his son’
‘Not now!’Gurmand thought, bit he had to welcome them.
‘Tell them to wait in the main hall, I’m on my way’
‘Aye sire!’ said the soldiers with a continence and left.
‘I have to go, Elyssa’ Gurmand voice was heavy with sadness.
‘We’ll have lots of time to be togheter’ she said, whit a sad smile. ‘I’ll wait you in my chambers’
She kissed him, and then Gurmand left.
Hope you guys enjoyed the story! 🙂

Fun Western Cape Fact: The Western Cape is topographically and climatically varied. It has a temperate southern coastline fringed with mountains; here the typical vegetation, especially in the western section, is the famed fynbos. To the north it stretches deep into the Karoo plateau, while the west coast is extremely dry.
