On Thursday 30th April  at 9pm we have the second part of the conversation with Charles Goldstuck on Cape Talk on the show The Business of Entertainment hosted by Martin Myers

Goldstuck is the Founder and Managing Partner of GoldState Music, a private investment firm focused on the music sector.

The firm’s funds primarily invest in music rights as well as businesses requiring growth and expansion capital, positioning it at the forefront of music as an evolving asset class.

Previously, Goldstuck served as President and COO of Bertelsmann Music Group (BMG), where he oversaw operations across its global music labels. In 2000, he co-founded J Records alongside legendary music executive Clive Davis, later helping build it into the RCA Music Group.

His earlier roles include Executive Vice President/General Manager of Arista Records and Executive Vice President at Capitol Records.

During his tenure in the music industry, Goldstuck played a pivotal role in developing and supporting major global artists, including Usher, Leona Lewis, Dave Matthews Band, Foo Fighters, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Sarah McLachlan, and Avril Lavigne.

He also revitalized the careers of iconic performers such as Rod Stewart and Annie Lennox, while contributing to the success of newer acts including Maroon 5.
