Next week, the City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office will once again be on the move to provide residents with convenient access to essential municipal services. The Mobile Office will be stationed at the Ikhwezi Community Centre in Gugulethu on Thursday, 16 April 2026 and again at the Hillcrest Community Hall in Blue Downs on Friday, 17 April 2026. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of these opportunities to address account-related enquiries and access a range of City services closer to home.

Friday, 17 April 2026, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Hillcrest Community Hall, Blue Downs Avenue, Blue Downs
The City’s Customer Relations Department’s mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically.
‘This is the City’s commitment to bringing its services closer to communities and making local government more accessible to residents. City staff will be in Gugulethu and Blue Downs next week to provide guidance and assistance on queries and any other municipal matters that arise. Residents are reminded to bring along their IDs or municipal accounts to help ease the process on the day,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.
