Claudia Mohr is an unalloyed South African musician. After completing her Master’s degree in Music in 2010 at UCT, Claudia Mohr decided it was time to finish recording her album. Claudia Mohr’s debut album entitled ‘Go It Alone’ is to be launched in South Africa on the 18th and 19th of November 2011 at The Fugard Theatre in Cape Town.
This significant musician is not new to the music and entertainment industry. She sung her first cover song of Que Sera Sera on the V&A boardwalk at the age of five. Thereafter she worked in many facets of the related entertainment industries as a music and lifestyle journalist, radio DJ (FMR), entertainment reporter (Heart FM) and music events coordinator.
Her unique style of music is described as “adult contemporary soul”, which is reflected through her passion for her music and her enthusiasm for the lure of the stage. Ticket sales for the launch of her album will be open on the 29th of September, ranging between R90.00 and R120.00. Tickets will be available from computicket (www.computicket.co.za).
