Climate Smart <a title="Cape Town” target=”_blank” href=”http://myza.co.za/cgi-bin/search.cgi?keywords=Cape+Town”>Cape Town is a campaign to help residents of <a title="Cape Town” target=”_blank” href=”http://myza.co.za/cgi-bin/search.cgi?keywords=Cape+Town”>Cape Town learn about climate change and how they can take action, as well as to learn about the actions already being taken by the City of <a title="Cape Town” target=”_blank” href=”http://myza.co.za/cgi-bin/search.cgi?keywords=Cape+Town”>Cape Town and other leading public and private sector organisations to mitigate and adapt to climate change.

While international organisations and governments have a major role to play, you can also make changes to your lifestyle which can make a difference, even if small, to prevent the worst of climate change. And you can share your ideas, and challenges with others, simply by clicking here.

When it comes to addressing climate change, the time for action has long since arrived. The climate is changing, and we each must do what we can to mitigate and adapt to these changes.

The City has also approved a R2 million disbursement for a campaign, which aims to take advantage of the momentum of COP (Conference of the Parties) 17 to position the City as a leading global player in the field of climate change.
