Collaboration with the CSIR puts UCT on the global map of scientific research

CSIR staff master's and doctoral graduates from UCT

The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and the University of Cape Town (UCT) have been responding to South Africa’s national priorities by collaborating on research projects and developing human capital since 2004. The basis for this collaboration has been the institutions’ complementary capabilities, which have been shaped by their distinct mandates, infrastructure and specific facilities.
