Today, Wednesday 22 January, the Democratic Alliance (DA) in the Western Cape will lay charges against George Mayor Melvin Naik following serious allegations against him relating to corruption and interfernce in administrative processes.
These allegations emerged after a forensic report found substantive evidence of criminal activity.
The DA’s Constituency Head for George, Geordin Hill–Lewis MP, will be laying the charges on behalf of the DA.
