A few months ago, we sold everything we own and moved onto a 36ft sailboat.

This is some of what we have been doing and how we feel about our new life 4 months in.

This video does not even summarize half of what we have experienced or have done – and that is okay. It is not a showcase of our lives, but just a glimpse to help ourselves remember when we are old and frail of what we got up to. Trying to put this together, I once realized once what a privilege and fun experience it has been.

We have already met so many amazing people and have amazing friends share in the story. Thanks to all you.
We are planning to live and explore the Indian Ocean from our sailboat. We did a refit of a TOSCA 36 and left Cape Town in October 2018. A large part of sailing is learning how to be adaptable and change plans – our biggest being our failed engine as we were making our way from Knysna to Port Elizabeth. Follow along as we figure out how to live with less.
