Internationally acclaimed artist Jaret Loggenberg is proud and excited, to present her solo in her home country South Africa. After a career in finance and painting in between, Loggenberg decided in 2019 to pursue her career. A cold water to jump in – but it worked out and her artworks are liked across the world. Her vision is to inspire people to live a fulfilled life. Her artworks should be a reminder for the viewer to be thankful for all their blessings. The artists wants her works to show strength, she wants them to inspire the viewer as well as being some sort of light for those who are not that fortunate as she and her surroundings are.
The theme of ‘gratitude’ explains itself, the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for, and to return kindness; all this is a reflection of this artist and her strong belief.
Jaret Loggenberg in an interview recently: ‘The past year has been a great blessing for me in every aspect of my life, and this exhibition will be my way of showing appreciation. My art is a gift from God to sow seeds of hope, joy, and love in people’s life. We sometimes need to be reminded of all the million things that we can be grateful for, and these artworks will always be a reminder for the viewers of their blessings.’
29 years young South African artist Jaret Loggenberg hosts her solo exhibition ‘gratitude’ on Avontuur Wine Estate, 30 March – 02 April 2023
