MyPR: Five-Day Extravaganza for Vintage Lovers:

For the love of vintage don’t miss the Vintage Ideas market this year. Photo: supplied

This year, the ever popular Vintage Ideas Market will offer visitors a whopping five days of spectacular vintage shopping. The market will take place during the April long weekend from Thursday, 27 April, to Monday, 1 May, and will delight vintage enthusiasts with its nostalgic “Those were the days” theme.

Hosted at the elegant Simondium’s Country Lodge, the market celebrates all things vintage with a vibrant dash of retro chic added to this year’s offerings. Vintage remains on trend internationally, while the rising popularity of retro will recall the glory days of the 70s and 80s.

Perfect entertainment for the long weekend, a leisurely browse at this magical market will reveal the nostalgic appeal of vintage and retro décor items, clothing, jewellery, glass and silverware, kitchenalia, garden accessories and irresistible bric ‘n brac. The deli will also take a step back in time and stock delicious home-made goodies to fill your pantry.

The Simondium’s Country Lodge is located along the R45 between Paarl and Franschhoek – easily accessible from Cape Town and Stellenbosch. Fabulous food, great wines and music will also form part of the exciting long weekend line-up. The Vintage Ideas market will be open from 09h30 to 16h00 from Thursday to Sunday and until 15h00 on Monday, 1 May 2017. Tickets are R30 for adults, while children under the age of eighteen enter for free. Ample parking and security are available on site.
