FUTURELIFE® Celebrates Opening of Second Concept Store in Cape Town

8 October 2023 by Con Tributor

CAPE TOWN – FUTURELIFE®, a leading health and wellness brand, is excited to announce the grand opening of its second concept store, set to make waves in Canal Walk, Cape Town. Building upon the resounding success of its inaugural store in Umhlanga’s Oceans Mall, this new establishment redefines health and wellness retail while offering a unique, immersive experience for customers.

Justine Agnew, who heads up experiential stores for FUTURELIFE® says, “We are delighted to introduce our pioneering store concept to the vibrant city of Cape Town. Our second store opening marks a significant milestone in our journey to promote health and wellness in South Africa. We look forward to providing the community of Cape Town with an engaging and holistic retail adventure.”

Just like its predecessor, the FUTURELIFE® store in Canal Walk will offer an extensive range of FUTURELIFE® products, along with high-quality co-branded FUTURELIFE®/Adidas apparel and merchandise. Additionally, the store will proudly showcase collaborations with esteemed South African brands, including Thandana, Bobums, and CrunchBox, featuring exclusive children’s merchandise.

Agnew emphasises that FUTURELIFE® sees customer support and expert guidance in enhancing overall vitality as being of paramount importance and the company has dedicated significant resources to ensure that these aspects are at the forefront of customer well-being. “As part of our offering, we are proud to also have qualified dietitians available on-site, offering basic health tests, personalised eating plans, recipes, and educational sessions,” she adds.

One of the store’s standout features is the Smart Café, where every item served incorporates the goodness of FUTURELIFE®. Customers can savour freshly made smoothies paired with a delectable range of FUTURELIFE® infused yoghurts, muffins, and oat cups. Embracing sustainability, all packaging is recyclable, and the store will host tasting sessions and cooking demonstrations that will engage and inspire its valued customers.

“We are also committed to captivating the younger generation and have gone the extra mile by creating an interactive Kids Area in-store,” adds Agnew. “Here, children can engage in fun activities that will help foster an early appreciation for health and well-being, while their parents shop.”

To streamline the shopping experience, the FUTURELIFE® store has adopted a cashless system, using digital point-of-sale systems that support credit cards, tap-and-go payments, Apple and Samsung Pay, and Zapper. After placing their orders, customers will find their purchases expertly packed at the store’s rear, presented in premium recyclable bags accompanied by a thank-you card, product information, and samples.

The new FUTURELIFE® store at Canal Walk is poised to redefine the health and wellness retail landscape in Cape Town, with its compelling features that combine premium products, expert guidance, convenience, and interactivity. FUTURELIFE® keenly anticipates bringing the FUTURELIFE® experience closer to Capetonians, encouraging and empowering them to embark on a healthier future filled with possibilities.

“We’ve witnessed the incredible success of our first store in Umhlanga, and we look forward to replicating that success in Cape Town, as the pursuit of a healthier lifestyle continues to grow in importance,” Agnew concludes.
