MyCiTi and the City of Cape Town have announced an exciting competition.
Everyone who gets a myconnect card before close of business on 15 January 2012 will be entered into a lucky draw to win one of these fantastic prizes:
- First prize: one free six-month pass to ride the MyCiTi buses valid from 1 February – 31 July 2012
- Second prize: one of five free three-month passes to ride the MyCiTi buses valid from 1 February – 30 April 2012
- Third prize: one of ten free one-month passes to ride the MyCiTi buses valid from 1-29 February 2012
The myconnect cards are currently available for purchase at all MyCiTi station ticket kiosks.
All existing myconnect card holders will automatically be entered into the competition.
The draw will take place at the end of January 2012 and the winning myconnect card numbers will be published in daily and community newspapers, and posted on the MyCiTi website. People with winning card numbers can contact the City’s Transport Information Centre on 0800 65 64 63 to arrange to collect their prizes from the Civic Centre MyCiTi station. Winners must present their card as proof to the station kiosk staff before they will be able to collect their prize.
Winners will need to supply a passport-sized colour photograph of themselves which will appear on the front of their bus pass – please note the bus pass is not transferrable and only the winner of the pass is eligible to use it.
