Greater Tygerberg Partnership hosts free mosaic workshop for Bellville residents

23 February 2023 by Alan

Together with their partners, The Greater Tygerberg Partnership (GTP), is excited to be hosting three creative mosaic workshops for the Bellville and Parow community.

The workshops are completely free and form part of the GTP’s public art project. These workshops will be held at the Bellville Library, on Saturday – 25 February, Saturday – 4 March and Saturday – 11 March 2023, each workshop will start at 9h00 and end at 13h00.

Family, friends, and neighbours of all ages are welcome to join the practical, hands-on, and very fun mornings. They will be guided through the process of creating their own mosaic artwork using recycled materials, which they can then take home.

“At the GTP, our vision is to position the Bellville and Parow area as a place of creativity and sustainability. Our community is at the heart of everything we do, and we are always looking for fun and stimulating ways of getting residents together to not only create new relationships and improve morale and positivity but also to share knowledge and foster important skills for the future, ” says Monique Muller, Project Manager at GTP.

Spaces are limited, Sign-up now!

The twenty limited spots available for each workshop will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. No experience is required, and light refreshments will be provided on the day.

To register, please email the full names, ages, addresses, and cell phone numbers of all individuals wanting to attend to monique.muller@gtp.org.za.
