How One Subscriber Saved R573 240.00 Using MyPR

14 August 2026 by Con Tributor
  • And potentially made (or missed out) on another R1.2 Million in Turnover

Here is a simple way of looking at the benefits of a Featured Press Release Subscription to MyPR.

We have one subscriber that has been with us for 4 years and to date has posted 4 877 Featured Press Releases to our platform.

At R120.00 each (for a Single Featured Press Release) this subscriber would have paid a total of R585 240.00. If paying PER release submitted.

This equates to R12 192.50 per month.

BUT

How much did this subscriber pay monthly?

R250.00

For a total of R12 000.00 over 4 years.

Only R250.00 per month allows PR Professionals to self submit a maximum of 10 Featured Press Releases per day.

Some More Dazzling Math

If this subscriber used a media monitoring service and, in turn, charged clients JUST R250.00 per mention (on top of content writing and distribution costs) the added turnover from each submission would equate to R1 219 250.00 – all from using MyPR and ASSUMING only one mention per article.

Now Featured Articles are distributed much more widely than just on MyPR so it is possible for Public Relations Professionals to see 7 or more mentions per article.

Times R1 219 250 x 7 and you start to get the picture of potential that MyPR has created for PR Professionals to really monetise their work from the self submission of Featured press releases.

The Math is Simple – If you post 36 or more Paid For Releases per year on MyPR then rather subscribe monthly. Charging clients just R250.00 per mention changes the scenario into pure profit on an exponential scale. Photo: MyPR/Gemini
