On Friday, 20 June, good people the world over celebrated International Surfing Day 2014.
Our aim for the day was to give non-surfers the opportunity to ride their #firstwave ever and experience the stoke of surfing for the first time. With a global #surfandenjoy initiative in place, the action went down locally at Surfers Corner, Muizenberg with a great turnout of wave-hungry first timers and coaches including our Hurley family and good mates like Dale Steyn and Tim Harris.
Plenty of stoke-filled first waves were ridden with the less daring crowd on the beach encouraging every failed try and cheering on every success..
