Granwald Scott, the Ajax Cape Town captain is aware of the battle facing his team when they play Orlando Pirates on Wednesday evening at the Orlando Stadium.
He said, “I know it’s going to be a tough game on Wednesday evening because Pirates won their last game and their confidence is high; however it’s important that we come away from the Orlando Stadium with points as we try to get back to winning habits.
In our last couple of games we haven’t converted our chances; we created a lot of scoring opportunities but our finishing needed work. The break gave us the chance to work on our game plan and the chances created hit the back of the net.
We must just go there, play to our strengths and we can get a result.
We know it won’t be easy but we are prepared to fight for the points. Both teams want to win; three points will help to close the gap on the log leaders.”
