Jews around the world celebrated their holiest day of the Jewish Calendar, Yom Kippur, on Friday night and Saturday, in which they spent their time fasting, reflecting and praying for blessings and good luck for the coming year. Artist Cathy Abraham’s Undying Entanglement forms part of a series of exhibitions at the SA Jewish Museum entitled Who Am I?, in which Jewish South African artists explore their identity and heritage. Her exhibition looks at her own heritage and her life lived as a Jewish woman.
