The City’s Sport and Recreation Department, in partnership with Heart 104.9, will be hosting its season readiness beach festival at Muizenberg Beach, on Saturday, 3 December 2011. The day’s activities include celebrity 5-a-side soccer, volleyball, beach cricket, rugby, surf school, shark spotting, fitness activities and various games for youngsters. There will also be live stage performances and entertainment.
Sport and Recreation Department staff have made every effort to ready the City’s summer amenities for the upcoming festive season, and residents are encouraged to join them for a day of family summer fun.
