Cape Town, South Africa – Cape Town is in for a treat this spring as two legendary performers – Judy Boucher and Robin S – headline Soul Sisters 2025 at GrandWest Casino and Entertainment World on Saturday, 27 September 2025. Proudly partnered with KFM, this one-night-only event promises a soul-filled celebration of timeless hits and powerhouse vocals.

The Soul Sisters Line-Up
International icons Boucher and Robin S will share the stage with an all-star Cape Town ensemble, including Karin Kortje, Claire Phillips, Vicky Sampson, Andrea Fortuin, Calretheia, Ramaine Barreiro Lloyd, and Leonee Leroux. The evening will be brought to life by Dillon Roman and his superb seven-piece band, ensuring a night of unforgettable live music.

Judy Boucher – The Voice That Touched the World
Born in St. Vincent in the Caribbean, Judy Boucher rose to global fame with her chart-topping single “Can’t Be with You Tonight”, which reached No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart in 1987 and stayed on the charts for an extraordinary fourteen weeks. Her unique blend of reggae and R&B turned her into an international sensation, making her the first Caribbean woman to hold such a long-standing position in the UK charts.

Boucher’s career began in her brother’s band, Judy Jack and the Beanstalk, before she stepped into the spotlight as a solo artist in the mid-1980s. Her songs, including “Dreaming of a Little Island” and “You Caught My Eye”, cemented her as a beloved voice across Europe, the Caribbean, and beyond. To this day, she is celebrated as an ambassador for her home country, St. Vincent, and remains one of the most respected female artists to emerge from the region.

Robin S – The Queen of Club Anthems
Hailing from Queens, New York, Robin Stone, better known as Robin S, burst onto the global stage in the early 1990s with her house anthem “Show Me Love”. First released in 1990, the song found worldwide acclaim after being remixed by Swedish DJ StoneBridge in 1993. The track went on to top the Billboard Dance Charts, crack the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10, and dominate dance floors across the globe.

Robin S followed up with a string of hits including “Luv 4 Luv”, “What I Do Best”, and “It Must Be Love”, while her sophomore album From Now On showed her versatility with gospel, R&B, and high-energy dance tracks. Her music has appeared on the Space Jam soundtrack, and she has graced stages from the American Music Awards to international festivals, earning her a reputation as one of the defining voices of house and dance music.

Even decades later, Robin S continues to record, perform, and collaborate – her track “Shout It Loud” reached No. 1 on the US dance chart in 2016, proving her enduring influence.

An Unmissable Night of Music
Together, Judy Boucher and Robin S will headline Soul Sisters 2025 in what promises to be one of Cape Town’s most memorable music events. Fans can look forward to Boucher’s timeless ballads and Robin S’s dance-floor classics, alongside an exceptional showcase from some of South Africa’s brightest female stars.

“This show is more than just a concert,” says promoter Martin Myers. “It’s a night of nostalgia, empowerment, and pure joy. With KFM as our partner, we’re bringing Cape Town the ultimate soul and dance experience.”
