In this video we take a look at the beautiful Clifton Beach. Voted as one of the top 10 beaches in the world, it really is a great beach to visit.
It’s history began with the Goringhaicona Tribe who lived along the coastline in the Cape. At the end of World War I, soldiers returning from the war were given permission to erect bungalows next to the beach. They mostly used old wooden crates that had been used to transport cars (that’s why they have that distinctive box shape).
Now, Clifton is a beautiful blue-flag beach attracting many tourists and locals-alike.
