The Cape Town city centre and two of the city’s landmarks will go dark tonight as part of the global Earth Hour initiative aimed at raising awareness on climate change. As part of Earth Hour, participating countries, cities and individuals will turn off their lights for one hour between 8.30pm and 9.30pm.
