Looks like these politicians would benefit from a Race Free Month

10 June 2015 by Alan

EFF leader Julius Malema called DA MP Dianne Kohler Barnard a ‘white madam’ on Tuesday after she tweeted a question about his whereabouts in Parliament.

Barnard tweeted on Tuesday evening: “Has Winnie [Madikizela-Mandela] taught Julius that you never have to come to Parliament yet earn a salary? I’ve forgotten what they look like. Rules???”

Malema retorted: “Do your work and stop tweeting about me. I report to EFF and its voters about my whereabouts and not some white madam #Sies.”

The Economic Freedom Fighters leader famously called former Democratic Alliance leader Helen Zille “the madam”, and the party’s former parliamentary leader Lindiwe Mazibuko a “tea lady”.

A “madam” in this context refers to name a domestic worker would call her employer.
