10 June 2024 by Con Tributor

L’Oréal Paris proudly unveils its partnership with the multi-talented actress, entrepreneur, and global influencer Temi Otedola as the new Sub-Saharan African Digital Brand Ambassador for L’Oréal Paris Makeup. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in celebrating beauty in all its forms across the continent and reaffirms L’Oréal Paris’s commitment to diversity and empowerment.

Temi Otedola’s remarkable journey in the world of entertainment, fashion, and advocacy has established her as a key opinion leader and a beacon of inspiration for millions worldwide. As the digital face of L’Oréal Paris Makeup, Temi will headline the latest Infaillible Makeup Range campaigns, showcasing her unparalleled style and celebrating the diverse beauty of Africa.

Temi expressed her excitement and honor in her statement: “Words cannot describe how honored I am to partner with L’Oréal Paris Makeup. L’Oréal Paris was amongst the first beauty products I was introduced to as a young girl playing with my mother’s makeup. I have grown up loving the products and deeply respecting the company’s values and vision. The L’Oréal Paris woman is someone I deeply resonate with—confident, unapologetic, and always striving to make a difference in the world. I’m so excited to begin this beautiful partnership with L’Oréal Paris, sharing their ideals and all their amazing work to make us feel beautiful inside and out.”

Temi Otedola’s influence spans diverse communities, from the alté GenZ to celebrities and the diaspora, making her an ideal representative for L’Oréal Paris’s culturally diverse brand. Her collaboration with Glamour Magazine South Africa for the June/July cover showcases the fusion of fashion, beauty, and African heritage, highlighting the talents of pan-African designers and embodying black excellence.

Temi joins L’Oréal Paris Makeup alongside Thuso Mbedu, who remains the spokesperson for Sub-Saharan Africa. Thuso’s enduring partnership with L’Oréal Paris continues to highlight her dedication to empowerment and beauty, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to representing the diverse and dynamic beauty of African women.

Issima Oniangue, General Manager for Makeup in the Sub-Saharan Africa Zone at L’Oréal Paris, shared her excitement about the partnership: “Temi’s unique style, confidence, and passion for beauty perfectly embody the L’Oréal Paris ethos of empowerment and sophistication. This partnership marks a new era of glamour and innovation in beauty for the region as we continue to celebrate and cater to the diverse beauty of African women. Together with Temi and Thuso, we are excited to inspire and bring the best of beauty to every corner of the continent.”

Temi Otedola’s journey with L’Oréal Paris Makeup promises to celebrate beauty, empowerment, and cultural richness, resonating with audiences across Sub-Saharan Africa and beyond.
