Mobile Office Heading to Westlake, Bothasig and Lotus River

8 June 2026 by Con Tributor

The City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office is heading to Westlake, Bothasig and Lotus River this week to bring essential municipal services directly to residents’ doorsteps. The mobile office will be at the Westlake United Church Trust (WUCT – Commando Hall), on Thursday, 11 June 2026, the Bothasig Library and the Lotus River Civic on Friday, 12 June 2026. Residents are encouraged to skip the commute and visit the Mobile Office to resolve account queries and access City services.

The details are as follows:

  • Thursday, 11 June 2026 from 10:00 to 14:00 at the Westlake United Church Trust (WUCT – Commando Hall), 48 Westlake Drive, Westlake
  • Friday, 12 June 2026 from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Bothasig Library, 132 Vryburger Avenue, Bothasig
  • Friday, 12 June 2026 from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Lotus River Civic, Buck Road, Lotus River

The City’s Customer Relations Department’s mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically.

‘These mobile office visits bring essential municipal services closer to residents, making it easier to access support right in their own neighbourhoods. Residents can get assistance with non-emergency enquiries, including rates, water, electricity and refuse accounts. I encourage residents of Westlake, Bothasig, Lotus River and Richwood to make use of this opportunity and attend in large numbers. To help us assist you quickly and efficiently, please bring along your ID and municipal account details,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.
