On 24 February 2021 at 15:20:00 MyGqeberha.com was indexed in Google for the first time!

From registration of the domain name to indexing in Google – 2 hours and 40 minutes

How did I do this?

1. I developed and deployed the basic site in record time – an hour
2. I posted a link to the MyGqeberha.com web site from MyPE here: Gqeberha? Absolute BS!
3. I uploaded a YouTube Video to the From Port Elizabeth Channel with a link to MyGqeberha.com
4. I posted a Press Release on MyPR here: Gqeberha – New Name, Origins & Pronunciation for the Former Port Elizabeth
5. I shared the postings to LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter
6. I shared the postings to a number of interest groups
7. I continued to deep link to sections of the MyGqeberha web site from other articles
8. MyPR started doing it’s magic by distributing the article and getting it published on other web properties as part of MPR’s Featured Press Release Subscription.

BUT

The online publications (MyPE, MyPR, YouTube) that I shared the MyGqeberha link to are well respected properties that – in the case of MyPE and MyPR – the Google Bot camps on waiting for new content to spider AND it took me many years of being slavishly devoted to my niche to gain that kind of devotion and trust from the Google Bot.
