On Friday 14 November the Democratic Alliance’s (DA) Jaco Londt, who serves as the Western Cape Minister for Social Development, commissioned new GBV ambassadors in an effort to fight the scourge of gender based violence in the province.
This forms part of ongoing efforts by the DA-led Western Cape government to protect vulnerable community members and support them in combating GBV by raising awareness and assisting survivors to get help.
