It seems like in good old OBS, you cannot breathe heavily without someone alerting the noise police. See the correspondence below for a giggle:
Complainer:
Rxxx Exxxx, the estate agents across the way in Station Rd, their alarm has just gone off twice in a row.
The alarm blares for 8 WHOLE MINUTES each time, surely there has to be a regulation on how long an alarm may go off for.
Solution offered:
Get Rxxx Exxxx number – can’t be too hard to get – and call her at 4 in the morning to tell her alarm is going off.
Comment by Resident:
Surely the concern should be why the alarm is going off – not how long or how annoying it is? I mean aren’t we all meant to be part of a neighbourhood watch? Complaining about people’s alarms going off instead of trying to find out why doesn’t seem very neighbourly – but that could just be me!
Editorial Comment: Looks like you are on your own, Rxxx Exxxx, as not even your neighbours care about you. But, when they want their home sold quickly or a contribution to some or other cake sale then they know where you are – idjuts.
