3 September 2019 by Alan

WESTERN CAPE – SAPS efforts to address the drug trade in the Nyanga area continue to deliver results. This morning at about 09:15 members attached to the Western Cape Public Order Policing arrested a 20-year-old suspect with 3282 mandrax tablets. The members were on foot beat in Hlathi Street, Nyanga when they were tipped off about the suspect who was in possession of the drugs. They approached the house and recovered the mandrax tablets and arrested the suspect.

Once charged the suspect will appear in Athlone Magistrate Court for the possession of drugs.
