Public meeting: MyCiTi services

28 September 2011 by CapeTownNewsReader

The City of Cape Town will hold a public meeting next week to present new MyCiTi routes under construction in Parklands and Table View and its plans to extend the MyCiTi service further.

Date: Tuesday, 4 October, 2011
Time: 19:00
Venue: Leibrandt van Niekerk Hall
South Road
Table View

Members of the MyCiTi planning team will outline the plans for the MyCiTi trunk route along Blaauberg Road and the permanent feeder services in Parklands, Table View and Blouberg. They will also explain plans for the further extension of MyCiTi.

Similar meetings will be held in other areas where construction is to begin soon.

The permanent feeder services are to replace the interim MyCiTi feeder services which have been operational since May. The location of the permanent services takes into account public feedback and lessons learnt on the interim
services.

For more information, call the Transport Information Call centre (toll-free 24/7) on 0800 65 64 63.
