Roadworks on Boyes Drive

23 March 2012 by CapeTownNewsReader

Roadworks on Boyes Drive resumed on 22 March 2012. This work is expected to take four days and should be completed by Tuesday 27 March 2012, depending on the continued availability of bitumen and favourable weather conditions.

While the work is being undertaken, a temporary one-way system for northbound traffic will be in place between 09:00 to 16:00 for the section of road from Clairvaux Road to Old Boyes Drive.
During this time, southbound traffic will be directed to use Main Road.

The road will be reopened to normal two-way traffic after 16:00 each day – except on Friday when it will reopen at 15:00.

Signage will be in place to inform road users of the roadworks and a Traffic Safety Officer from the contracted project team will be in attendance to manage any incidents or problems.

The City of Cape Town apologises for any inconvenience and requests that road users proceed with caution while this work is underway.
