Delosperma cooperi ‘Table Mountain’
Produces impressive masses of long lasting, electric fuchsia pink flowers with yellow stamens. Blooms cover the needle-like leaves in spring and early summer, with some repeat in fall. Plants are fast growing and ground hugging, quickly reaching 3 inches tall, and
1.5-2 feet across. Tolerate heat, drought, and poor soil.
Colorado State University, worked with the Denver Botanical Garden, to develop a hardier Delosperma cooperi. This collaboration resulted in Table Mountain, a remarkably showy, easy to grow ground cover, now popular in both cold winter and mild winter climates.
