South Hill Wine Estate is the perfect escape for city-dwellers who need a breath of fresh valley air, and a quiet place in nature to relax. The estate offers a luxury farm-style experience, an on-site restaurant and wine tasting from Wednesday – Sunday 8am till 4pm. The South Hill Villa (the largest of the 3), consists of 6 en-suite rooms, each fitted with a king-sized bed, sleeping a total of 12 adults. It has beautiful French doors that open onto a wrap-around patio, showing off a spectacular view of indigenous gardens and vineyards, and the perfect spot for taking in the breath-taking sunsets. The outdoor space has beautiful green rolling lawns, perfect for a game of croquet. You can also find a 15m pool, as well as a pizza oven and braai area. The Villa is self – catering and is available for Exclusive Full Use.
The Honeymoon Cottage, or the Pumphouse, is slightly more secluded, and overlooks a beautiful farm dam, mountains, and the Pinot vineyards. This cottage is fully self-catering, equipped with a kitchenette, braai facilities and a wonderful woodfired hot tub! It is the perfect spot to offer couples privacy and peace in a beautiful area.
The newest addition, the Houseboat, or Stokies Ark. Originally a Langebaan houseboat, it was recently restored in chic Scandi-style, and moored on the banks of the estate’s largest dam. It sleeps 6 adults, or 4 children and 4 adults, fully set up with a kitchen and braai area for self-catering as well as a wood fired hot tub for ultimate relaxation. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing water-based getaway – whether for a family vacation or a romantic weekend, it doesn’t get better than this slice of heaven by the water.
