The second annual FW de Klerk Goodwill Award will be presented on 2 February 2012, during the FW de Klerk Foundation’s annual gala dinner in Cape Town. The Award, established by die Foundation’s board in October 2010, aims to honour the person ? or organisation ? who has made an exemplary contribution to the promotion of goodwill between South Africans. Dr Danny Jordaan was the winner of the first Award in 2011, for his contributions to national goodwill through his work and leadership as head of the Local Organising Committee of the 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup.
The Foundation would like to invite the public and interested organisations to nominate an individual or organisation – who has made an exemplary contribution to the promotion of goodwill between South Africans – for the 2012 FW de Klerk Goodwill Award. Nominations will close on 30 November 2011.
