Table View Resident Wins 1200cc Stoos Custom Beach Cruiser with Jerry’s Burger Bar and Monster Energy.

Table View, Cape Town—One very delighted Table View resident, Daryth Hughes, is now the proud owner of a custom beach cruiser made by Stoos Customs.

Daryth entered the competition by buying a Jerry’s Burger Monster Energy combo earlier this year and received a phone call just a few days ago.

‘It’s absolutely beautiful, a beast,’ said Daryth when he took ownership of the bike. I took the family out for a quick lunch, went to Jerry’s, bought some burger combos, had a few Monster cocktails, entered our names, and got a phone call a couple of weeks later.’

Daryth has wanted a bike for some time now. “I haven’t ridden for a while, as I have two boys, and they keep me busy, but I’ve been looking for an excuse to buy a bike again. I’ve had mates hound me to buy a bike, and now I’m gifted with this beautiful thing.”

On the way home from picking up the bike, Daryth went past his boy’s school in Table View to see if they were outside for a break and drove slowly past. “When my eldest got home, he said, ‘Dad, we heard you long before we saw you.’”

When he arrived home, Daryth drove it to his friends’ houses to show them. “I was the centre of attention at the robots. The bike is loud, and even on deceleration, it has this meaty, backfiring pop. I love it. It’s as powerful as hell.”

“The bike is based on a Triumph Speedmaster 1200cc,” said Alex Stoos from Stoos Customs. “It is a beach cruiser inspiration, with ape hangers and a leather solo seat for that custom-designed exhaust nostalgic look. The bike has a custom-billeted floorboard with the Jerry’s Burger Bar logo machined into it, as the giveaway was a collaboration between Jerry’s Burger Bar, Monster Energy and Stoos Customs.”
