The Black Ties are excited to celebrate National Women’s Day (Tuesday 09 August 2022) by performing for thousands of runners (and walkers) at the iconic Totalsports Women’s Race in Cape Town.

With one of the most diverse cover band repertoires, The Black Ties perform any genre and music style. With a penchant for old world charm and an eye for contemporary trends, they portray the best of both worlds in their performance.

“It’s a great opportunity to get to share our music and entertain in the way we do, at the Totalsports Women’s Race,” says Chad Saaiman, The Black Ties. “It’s a big occasion with a big brand with a big heart. We can’t wait to have fun with the audience, as we get them dancing and singing along. Look forward to a fantastic energy, with sing-along songs combined with a few laughs. There are so many challenges for women in South Africa, with safety being at the forefront. We salute the resilience of South African women, and their strength. We will continue to do our best to be great examples to young men out there. We can’t wait to celebrate National Women’s Day with you.”
