The games which the Western Cape Government is playing with my life should now be on full display for all to see

Following the statement I issued on Monday, 20 June 2022, (See: “A grave injustice has been perpetrated against me in a politicised matter”) the Western Cape Government has issued a statement which continues to obscure the truth.

I have therefore decided that today, I will approach the Department of Community Safety’s Information Officer, Ms. Ansaaf Mohammed, and formally request the following in terms of the Promotion of Access to Information Act of 2000:

• A complete list of all allegations of misconduct made against me as an employee of the Western Cape Government which formed the basis of my precautionary suspension on 24 January 2022;
• The list of names of all complainants who made allegations in a) above; and,
• Copies of all affidavits and supporting documentation attested to in support of allegations made against me in point a) above.
• Copies of the reports presented to the Department of Community Safely in connection with and at the conclusion of investigations pertaining to allegations as in a), by Internal Control: Department of Community Safely; Employee Relations: Department of the Premier; and, Provincial Forensic Services: Department of the Premier, respectively.

If the Western Cape Government will not give me a formal letter confirming that their investigations have yielded no evidence of wrongdoing, then they must tell me what the allegations against me are.

With this latest statement, the kinds of games which the Western Cape Government is playing with my life should now be on full display for all to see. They play with words and phrases and continue to muddy the water between allegations made against Fritz and allegations made against me.

I would like to thank the journalists who have covered my story. You have assisted me in a David versus Goliath fight by shining objective light on the way the Western Cape Government is treating me. I am fighting for my life against people who don’t care. They don’t respect me as a person. They have teams of public relations and legal experts who are paid very well to swat away irritations like this. I have seen how when a summons comes to an office, it just gets referred to the State Attorney’s office. The very people who are responsible for the summons don’t even read it. They have access to unlimited resources. Me, I am unemployed. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you for bringing awareness.
