Third suspect arrested for Simon’s Town Navy Burglary

The Hawks have added another suspect to the two arrested for the alleged RSA Navy Burglary in Simon’s Town.

The suspect, believed to be 18 years-old, was apprehended on Friday afternoon at a navy base Barracks, after the search of the premises uncovered one of the alleged stolen firearm.

The suspect is expected to appear in the Simon’s Town Magistrate’s Court today, alongside his accomplices that were arrested on Thursday.

Head of the HAWKS in the Western Cape, Major General Nombuso Khoza said “We shall continue to follow all leads in this matter and everyone who took part in this crime in whatever capacity will be brought to book without fail” investigations continues.
