This is where the Easter Bunny will be hiding

15 March 2012 by Alan

Boredom will not be a problem during the holidays in the children’s area at GrandWest. In addition to ice skating, the latest blockbuster movies, ten pin bowling, arcade games, outdoor racing, go-kart racing and an indoor grand prix, youngsters can now indulge in the latest 3D viewing with the X Rider.

Described as the cutting edge of technology the game seats up to four players inside a booth, and from there they’ll be taken on a viewing adventure complete with authentic motion. The themed rides currently available are ‘Classic Rollercoaster’, ‘Snow Coaster’, Cosmic Coaster, King of Python, Tomb of the Pharaoh and Legend of the Dragon with more expected to follow soon. Rides cost R40 each and a height restriction applies.

Between 24 March and 9 April, visitors can also expect to encounter the Easter Bunny every day between 13h00 and 13h30 and they can have their faces painted to look like him between 12h00 and 12h45 and 19h00 and 19h45 daily. Mime artists, balloon twisters and a magician will be on complex between 12h00 and 14h00 and from 19h30 to 21h30.
